Whenever you need an appointment you are encouraged to make one with your own doctor. However, when your doctor is not available you may be seen by any one of the other doctors Patients may wish to note therefore, that individual doctors are usually NOT available on the following days:

Tuesday Drs Bhandal, Passfield & Brewin NOT available

Wednesday Drs Da Silva & PardoeNOT available

Thursday Drs Bhandal NOT available

Friday Drs Webster, Brewin & Murphy NOT available

MAKING A ROUTINE APPOINTMENT

Either call in at the surgery or telephone reception on 01529 303301 and request an appointment with doctor or nurse as appropriate. Please note that Doctor’s appointments are for 10 minutes.

URGENT APPOINTMENTS

Urgent cases will always be seen on the same day but please call reception as early as possible. Patients are requested not to abuse this service.

TELEPHONE CONSULTATIONS

Doctors are available to be consulted by telephone. If you wish to discuss a matter or receive advice then please ring the surgery to arrange a telephone appointment and the doctor will ring you back at a pre-arranged time.

HOME VISITS

Doctors will provide home visits for those patients whom they consider are too ill to attend the surgery. Patients who feel they need a home visit should call the surgery before 10.30 am wherever possible.

TELEPHONES

Whenever you telephone the surgery, do NOT put the telephone down if you have a ringing tone - be patient - you will be in a queuing system and your call will be answered in turn.

OUT OF HOURS

Please remember this service is meant for genuinely urgent cases. When abused it denies or delays access to emergency services to those in genuine need. To access this service in a genuine need please telephone 01529 303301 or alternatively ring NHS Direct on 0845 46 47. UNATTENDED APPOINTMENTS

The practice loses in excess of 1,500 appointments each year due to non-attendance by patients. If you cannot keep your appointment, please let us know sufficiently in advance so that we can allocate the appointment to somebody else. Persistent offenders may be removed from the patient list.
