Missed Appointments
Patients who don't attend their appointment, or who cancel too late for us to offer the appointment to somebody else, cause significant amounts of wasted time, and affect the availability of appointments for everyone else.
Sleaford Medical Group loses in excess of 3,000 appointments each year due to non attendance by patients. This equates to 10 hours per week on average.
In July 2011, 213 appointments were not attended at Sleaford Medical Group
80 of these appointments were with Doctors, 118 of these appointments were with the Nursing team and 15 appointments were with Nurse Practitioners.
Please notify the surgery in good time if you are unable to keep your appointment so that it can be offered to somebody else!
