Update as of 12th November- The changes are now fully in place and the phone line messages are changed.
Please use our Dispensary Phone Line (open 9.30am - 12.30pm and 2.30pm - 4.30pm, Mon - Fri) for both queries and ordering your repeat prescriptions.
We have had a recent review of the trends of need for the Dispensary Phone lines, to make a choice sustainable to the practice, whilst also remaining accessible for patients. Therefore, we have chosen to make some changes as detailed below.
As of tomorrow, 5th November 2021, the Dispensary phone lines will be changing slightly.
The Repeat Line (currently open 10am - 12pm, Mon - Fri) will be closing.
The Query Line (open 9.30am - 12.30pm and 2.30pm - 4.30pm, Mon - Fri) will remain open for both queries and orders of your repeat prescriptions. This line will therefore be called the Dispensary Phone Line.
We are currently ongoing with our phone company to embed this into the system and as a result the messages are not yet amended.
Therefore , the phone messages remain to point you towards both the Repeat Line and the Query Line. If you were to call during the usual Repeat Line opening hours tomorrow, (selecting option 2, then option 1) you will hear a message detailing that the Dispensary is currently closed. Please select instead option 2 then option 2 during the hours detailed above (9.30am - 12.30pm and 2.30pm - 4.30pm, Mon - Fri).
We expect the messages to be changed over the next week and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
