Sam joined the practice this week and some of you might be meeting her soon, so I thought you might like to know a little bit about her.
Sam is a Physician’s Associate – she holds a degree, a post graduate diploma and registration with her professional body.
She is a Sleaford girl originally and has recently moved back here. She previously worked at a practice in Sheffield for 5 years. She also used to be an international tennis player in her youth, and played in the Junior Championship at Wimbledon in 2009.
So why might your appointment be with Sam? You’re likely to see her if you need help with one of the following –
Minor illness – tonsillitis, sinusitis etc
Lumps and skin lesions
Breast changes and lumps
Mental health
Abdominal pains / gastro / bowel
Fatigue, recurrent headaches, aches and pains
Back pain
She will also refer you to secondary care if this is necessary.
