Prescription Update – 14.04

It has been highlighted to us by a few of our patients that there have been problems when they attend their chosen pharmacy to pick up their medication, in that they have been advised that the prescription has not arrived from the practice.

We of course are mindful that these trips to the pharmacy are taken with caution at this current time and that this situation is resulting in wasted journeys for yourselves.

To help yourselves, the practice and your pharmacy, we ask that you to bear in mind the following when ordering and picking up your prescription:

  1. Please allow a 1 week turnaround from order to collection, where possible

  2. Please have your/the person you are collecting for NHS number handy when attending the pharmacy. The pharmacy can use this to search for your prescription.
